My creative practice revolves around erotic world-making, queer kinship, and fetishistic, perverse enactments of normative institutions. My work always unfolds in the form of ritual or performance, and almost always in collaboration. Below are samples of my work.

Tribute is a feature-length documentary film looking at the history of professional dominatrixes in New York City from 1968-2008, gleaned through interviews with dominatrixes and clients active during this time.
The project was recognized as part of the Leather Archives & Museum 2023 Visiting Scholars Program.

Marriage Piece
Performance
2019 - divorce or death
Description: Marriage Piece is an ongoing performance piece performed by two wives, Ione Wang and Kassandra Sparks. The work perverts and admires the instutition of marriage by playing its rituals and symbolics through shifting, transgressive, queer registers. We perform the rituals of marriage (weddings, engagements, anniversaries) out of time, in the wrong order, and recurringly, leveraging these riuals as opportunities for communal gathering and play.

Performance, ink, blood, surveilance cameras
2021
Mommy’s Basement, is a D/s performance piece that played out the drama of art-making, parental dynamics, and childhood wounds by imprisoning Wang in a basement for several days with the instruction to make art. Blunt, Walker, and Sparks surveiled Wang through surveilance cameras and put her through a series of BDSM-inspired ordeals.
