I am a cultural anthropologist, artist, and community educator based in Brooklyn, NY. My work examines questions of eroticism, exchange, and world-making, predominantly through queer and marginal dynamics.
I am Guest Faculty of Sociology at Sarah Lawrence College, and received my PhD from University of California Berkeley. My current research is an ethnographic study of the commercial BDSM industry in New York City.
I have been involved in the sex workers’ rights movement for several years, and work closely with including Kink Out, Bay Area Workers Support, and Red Canary Song.
